No Shave November – For Charity
According to some, it’s the best time of the year – and no, they don’t mean Christmas. It’s No-Shave November, and razors everywhere will gather dust over the next thirty days.
At Web Talent Marketing, the men are embracing this tradition in full force and even attaching a meaningful aspect to it. On Friday, the men of Web Talent showed up clean shaven and will compete to grow their beards over the next month.
Web designer, Kevin Konrad, suggested the competition at Web Talent. “It was something I’d always wanted to do personally, but I’ve grown attached to my facial hair and I never wanted to start fresh. I thought it would be something fun we could do as an agency while supporting a good cause.” In fact, Kevin says he doesn’t think he’s been this clean shaven since eighth grade.
At the end of November, the man with the most impressive beard will get to choose a charity that the company will give a donation to. Each week we’ll post an update here on the Web Talent blog with pictures and give you the chance to weigh in and vote on your favorite beard so far.
